About University

Nation University, formerly known as “Yonok College”, was approved by the University Council to open for teaching since 1988 and operated by the Yonok Foundation. Yonok College was authorized by the Office of the Higher Education Commission to change its type from a college to “Yonok University” on August 23, 2006 and later on November 30, 2011, the Ministry of Education, with the recommendation of the Higher Education Commission, allowed the name to be changed to “Nation University”. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs. It has been open for 32 years (1988 – 2020). There have been more than 8,444 graduates, divided into 6,907 undergraduates and 1,537 graduates.


Nation University is a private higher education institution in Lampang Province that aims to produce quality graduates for society through a teaching and learning process that focuses on making students thinkers, eager to learn in both academic and practical aspects, and have morality and public awareness. There are activities to train students to have real experience and be able to apply their knowledge to their work effectively.


The university has beautiful natural landscapes, a teaching and learning atmosphere that is conducive to learning and life in the university as an “educational park”. There is a teaching and learning management that students are close to the faculty. There are also various facilities such as a library, male and female dormitories, computer labs, and communication technology labs (television and radio broadcasting practice). The university is located at 444 Wachirawut Damroen Road, Phrabat Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lampang Province.
