ABOUT UNIVERSITY
North Bangkok University (NBU), located in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, is a leading private university known for meeting international higher education standards. The university was inaugurated by Princess Sirindhorn and has obtained ISO9001:2000 international quality certification.
Founded in 2001 as North Bangkok College, the institution officially became North Bangkok University in 2010. NBU offers various academic programs through its faculties, including the Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Economics and Management, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Political Science, and Faculty of Education. The university provides over 20 undergraduate programs, including Information Technology, E-Commerce, Software Engineering, Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Aviation Economics, Business Chinese, English, Thai Language, Tourism and Hotel Management, and Public Relations and Advertising. It also offers master's programs in Business Administration, Educational Administration, and Curriculum Teaching, as well as doctoral programs in Education Management and Business Administration.
NBU emphasizes enhancing students' English and computer skills to prepare them for various professional fields. Alongside strong faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, the university boasts a comprehensive e-library, computer center, multimedia center, student online accounts, and recreational areas. NBU offers scholarships to academically outstanding students each year. Students who complete their undergraduate studies can pursue NBU's master's programs.
The university's mission is student-centered, encouraging active and independent learning so that students can effectively apply their knowledge. North Bangkok University also has its own football team, competing in Thailand's DC2 league.
