Bachelor of Fine Arts Program in Communication Design

The Communication Design Program (CDP)

at Mahidol University International College

is the first of its kind in Thailand to receive

the AUN-QA accreditation (ASEAN University

Network Quality Assessment) (2021- 2026).

This ensures the program’s quality through

the validation of the program’s curriculum

and management of its resources.CDP applies a “PROJECT-BASED STUDIO LEARNING

APPROACH” to all courses in the curriculum designed to

promote CREATIVE THINKING, PROBLEM SOLVING,

and INNOVATION that reflect 21st century challenges.

The program produces design professionals who function

effectively in diverse contemporary contexts.

Those enrolled in the program create design experiences

for specific target audiences while embracing the core values

of the university in applying their design skills for positive

social purposes.

3.A verification letter of current student status (if studying)

4.A photograph (450 x 350 pixels) in school uniform or in formal dress (shirt)

5.Original official and electronic score of TOEFL(iBT) or IELTS (Academic) or PTE (Academic) or Duolingo with at least 2 years’ validity (if any) Applicant is recommended to order 6.English Proficiency electronic score before the application period. 5-6 OBSERVATIONAL DRAWINGS 5-6 DESIGNS OR ARTWORKS The drawings should be based on looking at a three-dimensional source

1.) BRANDING AND ADVERTISING covering career

opportunities such as Brand and Corporate Identity Designer, Brand

Communication Manager, Creative, and Art Director. 2.) GRAPHIC

DESIGN, which includes Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Type Designer,

Infographic Designer, Packaging Designer, Environmental

Graphic/Experiential Graphic Designer, and Motion Graphic Designer.

3.) DIGITAL/ONLINE COMMUNICATION involving Web,

UI/UX Designer, Motion Graphic Designer, Multimedia/Interactive/

New Media Designer, and Online/Media Communication Designer.

4.) CREATIVE ANIMATION and 5.) FILM ARTS with career

opportunities related to storytelling and moving images, to animation

as an animator, character/toy art designer, and one who is involved

in cinematic languages and its application.
