ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Master of Engineering Program in Electrical Engineering

The establishment of the “ASEAN Economic Community” (AEC) in 2015

will result in free movement of goods, services, investment, capital, and labor, causing

Thailand to prepare for the impact on the economy, investment, and competition in employment.

Thailand’s advances in science and technology will play a part in making investors

view Thailand as a suitable country to be a production base, which will have a positive effect on increasing

the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The free movement of labor will therefore be

a factor in the urgent need for Thailand to upgrade its personnel to a higher level of knowledge and skills

in order to prepare for such competition. High-quality personnel play a part in increasing

the country’s readiness to be a production base.

Developing the nation’s industries is an important matter that must be done in conjunction with

strengthening the nation’s agricultural structure so that in the future Thailand will develop into a fully-fledged agricultural and industrial country. It

is not strange that most people think of energy, such as

electricity, when mentioning industry, because without any form of energy that is appropriate, humans cannot operate industrial businesses . But when stepping into the industrial factory area, you will find that there are various mechanisms and industrial tools. Some factories may rely on human labor, but many rely on robots and various automatic mechanisms. When industrialists use mechanisms and automatic systems, they will think of it as the duty of electrical engineers or engineers in other related fields. Electrical engineering realizes the importance of control system science and automation that is very involved in the development of the nation's industry. In addition, the nature of this branch of science is also multidisciplinary. Electrical engineering realizes that the creation of the nation's manpower with knowledge and skills in control system science is necessary and important to support the growth and development of the country from agriculture to agro-industry. The graduate program in electrical engineering that focuses on control system has been developed with the aim of producing engineers and academics with advanced knowledge in systems and deep control, and the ability to conduct quality research in order to become the main force in developing technology for society in the future. This graduate program in electrical engineering emphasizes research and dissertations at the master's degree level. Students can choose to study in a research format or in a format with lectures combined with research, depending on the knowledge and skills of each student. Those who choose the research format must have very good basic knowledge in engineering. A person with great knowledge and ability in mathematics and control systems
