ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The M.Tech in Information Security and Cyber Forensics is a comprehensive two-year full-time postgraduate program designed to equip students with advanced skills in securing digital assets and investigating cybercrimes. As cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, there is a growing demand for professionals who can safeguard critical infrastructures and analyze digital evidence. This program blends theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare graduates for careers in cybersecurity and digital forensics.
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of cryptographic techniques, secure network protocols, and threat detection methods, allowing them to design, implement, and manage robust security systems. The curriculum provides hands-on training in digital forensics, including the acquisition, analysis, and presentation of digital evidence in legal contexts, and emphasizes the use of cutting-edge forensic tools and methodologies. PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The M. Tech program offers specialized tracks in Information Security and Cyber Forensics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Robotics Sciences. The Information Security and Cyber Forensics specialization focuses on safeguarding information systems against cyber threats and investigating digital crimes, covering essential topics such as cryptography, network security, ethical hacking, and forensic analysis. In contrast, the Robotics Sciences track delves into the design, construction, and application of robots, including advanced studies in automation, robotic programming, sensor technologies, and the integration of robotics with real-world applications.
The curriculum is structured to provide a thorough education in each specialization. It includes core subjects that build a strong foundation in the chosen field, such as advanced cybersecurity protocols or robotic kinematics and dynamics.
