The Master of Science Program in Exercise and Sports Science (Revised Curriculum 2022) aims to produce graduates with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles and theories of exercise and sports science and to be able to integrate knowledge of physiology, psychology, biomechanics, sports medicine, and nutrition to develop new knowledge and innovations in exercise and sports to promote health and sports excellence, as well as to be individuals with morality, ethics, and professional ethics.
The Master of Science Program in Exercise and Sports Science (Revised Curriculum 2022) aims to produce graduates with the following qualifications:
Have thorough and correct understanding of important principles and theories in science and technology, physiology, psychology, biomechanics, sports medicine and nutrition, and be able to apply knowledge in research or professional practice to develop excellence in exercise and sports.
Have the ability to conduct basic or integrated research in various fields of exercise and sports science and have the ability to manage academic projects that will lead to the development of new knowledge or new practices.
Have the ability to think analytically, communicate, use computers and information technology and their applications that will lead to the development of knowledge and its widespread application.
Able to apply and transfer knowledge in exercise science and sports to those in the sports industry.
Have morality, ethics and academic/professional ethics, have leadership, take responsibility for planning, developing and improving oneself to be effective in work and society at the level of colleagues, community, locality, society and country, including having interpersonal skills and responsibility in working together as a team.

The Master of Science Program in Exercise and Sport Sciences at Khon Kaen University offers two study plans:
Plan A1 (Research-Oriented):
Plan A2 (Research with Coursework):
Both plans require the completion of a minimum of 36 credits. Plan A1 focuses solely on research, while Plan A2 combines research with coursework. Students in Plan A1 need to take non-credit courses that support their research, as recommended by their advisors.

In accordance with the Ministry of Education's announcement on the Graduate Curriculum Standards Criteria 2015
To comply with the regulations of Khon Kaen University on graduate studies 2016, Section 5, Section 21.2, or to comply with the regulations to be revised and be a graduate of a Bachelor of Science degree or a related field as follows:
Plan A Type A 1 is a graduate or expected to graduate with a bachelor's degree with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 3.25 and/or has experience in research in a related field, with at least 1 research work published and distributed nationally or internationally.
Plan A Type A 2 is a graduate or expected to graduate with a bachelor's degree in humanities and social sciences, or health, with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.50 or has a cumulative grade point average lower than 2.50 but has at least 1 year of work experience in a related field.
If there are qualifications other than those specified in Section 3, it is at the discretion of the Curriculum Management Committee.
Able to work in higher education institutions, government or private organizations, research organizations, or other related organizations as a teacher, academic, researcher, trainer, or organization executive in the field of exercise science and sports.

I am KKU student and get Non-ED Visa for a year, do I have to make the notification of staying in Thailand over 90 days?
Answer :
Students who have been granted a Non Immigration Visa for a temporary stay in Thailand and intend to stay longer than 90 days must report every 90 days at Khon Kaen immigration in person.
Question :
I left Thailand for a week to visit my family and return on 28th April 2019, my friend said I have to report the immigration in person within 48 hrs, right?
Answer :
Yes, students have to report within 48 hrs. after returning to Thailand at the immigration in person to maintain their notification of residence.
Question :
If I miss the report after returning to Thailand within 48 hrs., what will happen to me?
Answer :
The record information of your residence will be shown as the address you made the first 90-day report at the immigration. For example, you graduated from University A in Bangkok and moved to Khon Kaen for studying doctoral Degree. The first notification of a 90-day report made in Bangkok so the recorded residence information is in Bangkok. You visited hometown and missed the 48-hr. report after returning to Thailand. When you make the 90-day report at KK immigration, the information of your residence is in Bangkok. Therefore, you have to pay for the fine. In case your first notification of a 90-day report made in Khon Kaen, there is no problem.

If I travel to another province in Thailand, do I have to report at the immigration?

No, the landlord or house owner (hotel or house you are staying with during your traveling) will report immigration.
