ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Logistics Engineering program at Khon Kaen University is a newly opened international program. The goals of this degree are to prepare students for careers as logistics engineers, supply chain management engineers, industrial engineers, plant engineers, system engineers, logistics management positions in organizations relating to logistics, manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing services, Through this track, students are trained for a diversity of courses covering transportation planning, inventory and warehousing management, material handling, supply chain management, and principles of manufacturing system.

Khon Kaen University (KKU) was established as the major university in the northeastern part of Thailand in 1964 and has since devoted itself to becoming one of the top universities in Thailand. 1. Required subjects for specific fields, 9 credits

  - Students must complete at least 9 credits, of which at least 3 credits must be required courses specific to the thesis field (in the specific field of study) from the following courses:

2. Required subjects specific to the field (Seminar subjects), 2 credits

  - Students are required to take 10 graduate-level chemistry credits, with at least 8 credits in the specialization (field of study) for which they will conduct their thesis, from the following courses:

I am KKU student and get Non-ED Visa for a year, do I have to make the notification of staying in Thailand over 90 days?

Answer :

Students who have been granted a Non Immigration Visa for a temporary stay in Thailand and intend to stay longer than 90 days must report every 90 days at Khon Kaen immigration in person.

Question :

I left Thailand for a week to visit my family and return on 28th April 2019, my friend said I have to report the immigration in person within 48 hrs, right?

Answer :

Yes, students have to report within 48 hrs. after returning to Thailand at the immigration in person to maintain their notification of residence.

Question :

If I miss the report after returning to Thailand within 48 hrs., what will happen to me?

Answer :

The record information of your residence will be shown as the address you made the first 90-day report at the immigration. For example, you graduated from University A in Bangkok and moved to Khon Kaen for studying doctoral Degree. The first notification of a 90-day report made in Bangkok so the recorded residence information is in Bangkok. You visited hometown and missed the 48-hr. report after returning to Thailand. When you make the 90-day report at KK immigration, the information of your residence is in Bangkok. Therefore, you have to pay for the fine. In case your first notification of a 90-day report made in Khon Kaen, there is no problem.

If I travel to another province in Thailand, do I have to report at the immigration?

Answer :

No, the landlord or house owner (hotel or house you are staying with during your traveling) will report immigration.
