The Master of Arts in Applied Economics (MAAE) is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in economic theory, a comprehensive toolkit for statistical analysis, and a practical understanding of how economics is applied in the real world. Students have a choice to study in one of three applied tracks: International Economics and Finance; Health Economics; or Labor Economics. The program emphasizes the development of data analysis and policy evaluation skills that are in demand in today's labor market, particularly in business, healthcare, and the public sector.

Admission Procedure :
The MAAE program accepts applications for admission from January to May each year.

qualifications:
Bachelor's degree – Applicants must hold at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited university (preferably in the social sciences). For international degree holders, the degree must be on the Office of Civil Service Commission's approved list.
English proficiency – A good command of written and spoken English are required. Applicants must earn a score of 71 or higher on the TOEFL (IBT), 67 or higher on the CU-TEP, or 5.5 or higher on the IELTS.
International Economics and Finance: This track is designed for future decision-makers who are interested in a career path in the public sector, multinational businesses, international financial firms, and international organizations.
Health Economics: Students who complete this track will be equipped with economics knowledge, hands-on data analysis, as well as practical applications in health-related fields at the international level. Graduates can pursue careers in various organizations such as in public and private healthcare institutions, ministries of health, international organizations, and academic institutions.
Labor Economics: Students who pursue the labor economics track will be equipped with economic tnd analytical tools useful for careers in both the public and private sectors.
