To equip students with the pedagogical and technical abilities needed to concentrate on the use of electronic media in mass communication while also incorporating the core theories of the area.

Students who receive a diploma in journalism and mass communication often increase their communication and

Established in 1984, City University Malaysia was founded by a group of scholars with extensive global academic experience and a passion to empower the next generation. How to obtain student visa to study in Malaysia?

City University Malaysia will apply for student visa on your behalf via Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). Student is required to submit all the documents & visa application payment to university. Process takes at least 4 to 6 weeks.

City U offers 3 enrolment dates per year – January & May, September. Students are advised to start their enrolment process at least 6 to 3 months prior to intake to avoid late registration.

International students are allowed to work 20 hours per week during study semester & 40 hours per week during semester break. Please note that students are required to obtain immigration permission for part-time work.

Can students work in Malaysia upon completion of their studies?

Students can apply for jobs in Malaysia and attend a number of interviews, our friendly lecturers and professors can support your application with recommendation letters, and if you are one of the talented students with demanded skills and good study achievements, that chance is there! However, your future employer has to apply for a work permit with the authorities and guide you through the work permit regulations of Malaysia!
