31 January 2026The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) is the oldest private non-profit higher education institution offering degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Humanities, Science, Communication Arts, Engineering and Law. It is a place where academic theories and business experiences are integrated to produce graduates who can successfully meet today’s business challenges.
The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, originally known as the College of Commerce, is the private university that was founded by the Thai Chamber of Commerce in 1940 to provide business education to Thai youth. After the outbreak of World War II in 1941, the institution was closed and it was reopened in 1963. The two-year curriculum was developed into a standard four-year program in 1964 and on June 17, 1970 the College of Commerce was officially accredited under the Private College Act. On October 24, 1984, this institution was accredited as a university and the name was changed to the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
“UTCC International College” was founded in 2010. As it grows with the time and widening the scope of its operations, in August 2019 university decided to change the name to UTCC – International School of Management (iSM). The iSM, runs International Program purely taught in English both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level.

Eligibility Requirement
Completed high school level or equivalent with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
GED score is 600 and above (Each subject should be above 145).
TOEFL score is not less than 550, IELTS score is not less than 6.0, TOEFLiBT not less than 74, CEFR B2
Experience in student activities and/or volunteering is preferable.
Scholarship Maintenance Requirements:
To maintain their scholarship, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50. Falling below this threshold will result in suspension of the scholarship for the upcoming semester, and it cannot be regained.
In each academic semester,students must register and pass exams for no fewer than 15 credits.
Exceptions can be made for cooperative programs,internships, or the final semester with the approval of the dean.
Students must participate in academic activities or activities assigned by the UTCCISM, the university, or the dean.
