Admission Requirements
Plan A1:
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.25, or
Applicants holding a bachelor's degree in Science or a related field must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
Plan A2:
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or a related field with a minimum GPA of 2.50, or
Applicants must have at least 1 year of work experience in a biochemistry-related field.
English Language Proficiency (International Applicants):
Applicants must meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
TOEFL: At least 470 (Paper-based), 150 (Computer-based), or 52 (Internet-based).
IELTS: At least 5.0.
TU-GET: At least 500.
CU-TEP: At least 60.
KKU-AELT: At least level 3 for reading and writing.
Applications must be submitted online via the Graduate School, Khon Kaen University website: KKU Graduate School.
Entrance Examinations:
English Proficiency Test:
Conducted by the Graduate School.
Program Interview:
Conducted in English and evaluates general knowledge in biochemistry, biology, and chemistry.
International applicants with qualified English proficiency scores (as mentioned above) are exempted from the English proficiency test and proceed directly to the interview process.
Exceptions:
Applicants who do not meet the above requirements may be considered for admission if granted special permission by the Administrative Program Committee, in concurrence with the Graduate School.
