Qualifications of Applicants


Compliance with Regulations

Applicants must meet the requirements outlined in the Ministry of Education's 2016 Graduate Studies Curriculum Standards and the Khon Kaen University Regulations on Graduate Studies (2016) or any subsequent revisions.


Educational Background

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent field.

If the degree was obtained in Thailand, it must be from an educational institution accredited by the Nursing Council.

Alternatively, applicants who have completed a lifelong learning program in international nursing (graduate level) at the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, within the last 5 years are eligible.


Work Experience

Applicants must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the health system.


English Proficiency

Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency with valid test results (not older than 2 years) meeting the following minimum scores:

TOEFL (Paper-based): 470 points

TOEFL (Computer-based): 150 points

TOEFL (Internet-based): 52 points

TOEFL (Institutional Testing Program): 470 points

IELTS (Academic Module): 5.0 points

TU-GET (1000 points): 500 points

CU-TEP (120 points): 60 points


Exceptions

Applicants who do not meet the qualifications in sections (3) and (4) may still be considered at the discretion of the program's curriculum committee.
