Admission Guidelines for Foreign Applicants

2.1 Admission Channels


Foreign applicants who have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification from a non-Thai educational system can apply through:


KKUIC Direct Admission Channel (openings announced periodically 2-3 times per year).

TCAS5 Admission System.


2.2 Qualifications


2.2.1 Academic Background:


Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

For vocational degree holders: GED scores with a total of ≥ 580 points and at least 145 points in each section.


2.2.2 Academic Performance:


GPAX (Grade Point Average):

5 semesters: Minimum 2.00 out of 4.00, or

6 semesters: Minimum 2.00 out of 4.00, or equivalent.


2.2.3 English Proficiency (for non-native English speakers):


IELTS: Minimum score of 5.0

TOEFL:

Paper-based: Minimum 500

Computer-based: Minimum 173

Internet-based: Minimum 61

SAT (Reading and Writing Part): Minimum score of 450


2.2.4 Mathematics Proficiency (for specific programs):


SAT Math: Minimum score of 450

(Required for programs such as International Entrepreneurship, Global Business, International Marketing, and Tourism Management).


2.2.5 Missing Test Scores:

Applicants without valid scores in sections 2.2.3 or 2.2.4 can still apply but must:


Take the KKUIC Direct Admission Examination.

For missing English scores: Take the International College English Placement Test (ICEPT).

For missing Math scores: Take the Mathematics Placement Test.


3. Application Process


3.1 Admission Channels:

Nationwide Direct Admission (TCAS3)

Centralized Admission (TCAS4)

KKUIC Direct Admission (TCAS5)


3.2 Required Documents:


Photo: A recent passport-sized (3×4 cm) photo, taken within the last 6 months, with no hats, sunglasses, stickers, or scanned photos. Applicant’s name must be printed in capital letters on the back of the photo.

Identification: A copy of ID card, alien certificate, or passport.

Proof of Residence: Housing registration (for Thai applicants only).

Academic Records: A copy of academic transcripts (GPAX) or equivalent documents.

Proficiency Scores: Copies of English and Math test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT) if available.

Recommendation Letter: From the high school where the applicant completed their degree (if available).

Name Change Certificate: If applicable.
