The Master of Biotechnology combines advanced biotechnology knowledge with entrepreneurial and industry skills. Students learn to translate research into healthcare innovations, develop biotechnological products, and gain practical experience for careers in biotech research, product development, and commercialization.

- To enter Monash University, you must satisfy particular academic, English language and age requirements. To apply for the Master of Biotechnology, you must have completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area of study with at least a credit (60%) average. Relevant areas of study include: biomedical science, science/applied science with a major in (biochemistry, biotechnology, developmental biology, human biology, marine biology, human pathology, genetics, pharmacology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, physiology and zoology), nutrition sciences, dietetics, veterinary science, medical engineering, pharmacy, bioengineering, biotechnology, life science, clinical medicine, dental science/dentistry, or bioinformatics.

Application (once only) - RM100 Registration (once only) - RM200 General amenities (per semester) - RM100 Typically, the fee charged for a new student pass (with 12 months' validity) is ~RM2,515.00. It covers the following costs: 1. EMGs fees Application processing fee RM1208 Student pass fee RM120 eVAL fee RM159 i-Kad RM100 Multiple-entry visa fee RM100 Medical screening fee RM250 2. Medical and health insurance RM1700 Effective March 2015, new Indonesian students whose course duration is at least 2 years are now issued a student pass of 24-month validity. The fee charged for a 24-month student pass is ~RM3,640. It covers the following costs: Estimated cost (RM) 1.
