The AARM program focuses on sustainable aquaculture and aquatic resources management in Asia, integrating education, research, and outreach. It trains students to address challenges in fisheries, aquaculture production, environmental impacts, and coastal management, with emphasis on climate-smart practices, sustainable seafood, aquaculture nutrition, and industry linkages.

- Hold a Bachelor degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study from an institution of good standing acceptable to AIT;
- Have undergraduate grades significantly above average; the minimum cGPA requirement for admission to the Master's Program is 2.75 or equivalent, at the Bachelor degree level;
- English Proficiency Requirement: AIT-EET:6 or IELTS-Academic:6 (writing 6) or TOEFL Paper: 550 (writing 59-61) or TOEFL CBT: 213 (writing 25-26): TOEFL IBT: 80 (writing 21-23);

- PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Should hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study (for Master’s courses), and Masters with course work and thesis study (for PhD). Eligible undergraduate degrees include: Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Mariculture, Agricultural sciences, Biology, Marine Biology, Life Science, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Agricultural/Civil engineering, or Social Sciences. Minimum GPA – 2.75 or equivalent at Bachelors level (for Master’s courses) and 3.5 or equivalent at Masters level (for PhD).
