About this Program
The Master in Information Technology (Online Learning) equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to manage and lead IT-related activities in strategic, operational, and project environments. The programme enables experienced IT professionals to enhance their expertise in technology-driven areas such as IT, communications, management, business, and entrepreneurship. Graduates also receive a Joint Certificate and Digital Badge in Advanced Analytical Techniques for IT Professionals from the SAS Institute.
Key Requirements
Academic
- i. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the University Senate; OR ii. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the university; OR iii. A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to appropriate prerequisite courses; OR iv. iv. Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia must fulfil the requirement on item (i) or (ii). v. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS, 550 in TOEFL or its equivalent.
- Other Qualifications Applicants with non-Computing qualifications are required to take an additional course, namely Fundamental of Computing.
