Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) is an autonomous public university situated in Chiang Rai Province, northern Thailand. The university is named after the Princess Mother, Srinagarindra, who was affectionately called “Mae Fah Luang” by the local people of Chiang Rai, meaning “Royal Mother from the Sky.” Her dedication to education, healthcare, and community development continues to inspire the university’s mission and values.
